CFPO Youth Sports is excited to roll out a new volleyball program this year. Our first season will be limited to the SAN MARCOS area as we “test the waters” and gage the interest in the program.
Registration will be open to boys and girls ages 9-12 (4th,5th and 6th grades)
Players are eligible to play up in an age group, but not down. Teams will be co-ed.
Practices will be held in San Marcos at local school gymnasiums. Games will be played at one of the San Marcos area junior highs, either Goodnight or Miller, every Saturday. Registration fees help cover practices and games; players will receive a team T-shirt if needed.
Players will be covered by CFPO’s supplemental insurance policy for practices and games.
The registration cost for volleyball will be $75 per player, siblings will get a $10 discount per player.
CFPO will award trophies to first place teams and medals to second place teams.
Games on Saturdays will be a best of three games match using rally scoring to 15 points. Volleyball rules will follow UIL guidelines as we plan to prepare our players to play on their junior high and high school teams.
